I already have that app for my Droid. It’s available on the iPhone OS too. It’s called Tricorder and does a number of different things.
Different app, although not too dissimilar an idea. The various Tricorder apps don’t really *do* all that much. This one looks to be making some effort to be minimally useful. Probably not VERY useful, but at least a little
The sad truth is that the LCARS user interface isn’t actually a very good one. It just looks cool!
